STSI is the double-threaded screw in A2 stainless steel for fixing subframes of photovoltaic systems on corrugated panel or faux-barrel tile roofs to wooden load-bearing structure. Also suitable for installation on concrete with chemical injection mortar or in brick and cement structure with chemical injection mortar and FIS HK or FIS HN injection anchor sleeves. Incorporated EPDM gasket for sealing against rain infiltration.

Functionality

Determine the length of the STSI double-threaded screw depending on the thickness of the load-bearing structure.
Determine the centre distance of the STSI double-threaded screws according to the snow and wind loads of the installation area and inclination of the roof.
Identify the position of the STSI double-threaded screws depending on the load-bearing structure and the layout of the installation.
Drill the support according to the diameter of the screw and the type of support. Use a pilot drill diameter of 6.8 mm for a steel thickness of 1.5-5.0 mm. Use a pilot drill diameter of 7.0 mm for a steel thickness of 6.0 mm and a pilot drill diameter of 7.2 mm for a steel thickness of 8.0 mm. For a steel thickness of > 10 mm, use a pilot drill diameter of 7.4 mm.
Screw the STSI double-threaded screw into the structure by putting the EPDM rubber in contact with the roof.
Tighten the MU nut on the gasket to maintain waterproofness.
Fix the SSP or MW connection plate, adjusting its height using the MU nuts.
